-= Sunday cycling trip alone =-
woke up in the morning to the call of my mother once again. she's been calling mi on every Sunday morning and it was always C who pick up the call. =P mum cried again in the phone saying how much she misses mi and bro. aiyo~ it's not like i'm suffering here! anyway bro already going back to Singapore tml, so hopefully she'd feel better. and b4 i went out, i called dad on his HP to wish him happy father's day and we chatted for a while. seriously, it's now then i really talk to my parents properly. in the past, i always talk to them in a bochup manner. =Pp

anyway, had no concrete plans for the day so i decided to go cycling and explore further!

off i go and cycle thru my neighbourhood


and i reached Minatogawa 湊川


came to an underpass, and i decided to go take a look


then i went up and saw the marketplace! fresh food and vegetables


it was lined with food stalls and provision shops


walking up further, i reached Minatogawa Shotengai 湊川商店街


there were many shops, a bit similar to 三宮 Center Street but not as fashionable


went to Daiso aka 100 yen shop


saw a nice clothing shop


and a nice bags shop

then i decided i've seen enuff, so i went back to the underpass to retrieve my bike and cycled further down.

then i found myself in Shinkaichi 新開地


i walked thru the whole stretch of pachinkos and arcades to the end


and came to a very big park, which is on a higher altitude


i realised i can see 湊川商店街 from 1 side!


and the road i cycled from another side! my apartment is all the way straight ahead.


walked ard the park, and i attempted to take a pic of myself =P


feeling hungry, i settled for the Bikkuri Ramen shop i saw in 新開地

after eating, i wanted to go toilet, so i went to the 100 yen plaza which is juz nearby. shopped at the Daiso there too b4 cycling off further down. i wanted to try cycling all the way to 元町!

along the way, i realised i've reached Minatogawa Jinja 湊川神社


it's v big and beautiful there

unfortunately, my camera batt ran flat after this pic. =P anyway, i finally reached 元町 after some time and cycled thru the 商店街. it was quite exciting to cycle in the midst of the busy street with many ppl walking. =P but soon i decided it's better for mi to get down and walk, and so i parked my bike somewhere in a small alley.

shopped quite a bit in 元町 and then 三宮. i went to Vodafone to look at handphones, a couple of pharmacies to check out the prices of shampoo, shoes shops, bags shops, clothes shop and also Uni Qlo where i bought a grey jacket. soon, it was already 8pm and the shops are all closing. so i cycled all the way back!! it took mi abt 30 mins. and i took a different route cos i wanna try out where tt route will lead mi to. luckily it turned out to be a shorter route!

went to Kansai Supermarket b4 going home to buy groceries for tml's bento. then reached home, charged my camera, and here r wat i bought for the day!


watched World Cup at nite - Japan VS Croatia! it was heart-stopping whenever the ball almost got thru to Japan's goal post. but well, it was a draw in the end. guess there wun be much chance for Japan left. anyway, i really enjoyed watching the match... bcos Japan's team players are all so 帅! haha~ they each hv a different image, and all looks really cool on the field! awww~ *drools* =Pp
