Mon 5/6: lunch was at home today, with C being the chef.
cycled to sch and was greeted by a stinking smell. was told tt a dead cat has been found behind the vending machines yesterday! boss had to clear it away. eeeks~ then went for classes and had a nice time talking with the adult students.
at night, watched "SMAP x SMAP" for a while, and then "Ainori". it's sorta a match-making programme where a group of young people go on an overseas trip together. when they found someone they like, they will 告白 and upon success, return to Japan together. otherwise, they will return to Japan alone, heart-broken of cos. this show has been going on for quite a few years and altho i find it kinda superficial initially, it's still quite interesting to see all those love triangles. =P
Tue 6/6: we woke up v early and reach school at 9am to meet Boss and N-san for movie at 三宮 together. it was "Ladies Day" and so ladies get to enjoy movie for onli ¥1000 instead of the usual ¥1800. (¥1000 is abt SGD$15, still v exp to us Singaporeans! =P)

basically it's not much diff watching movie in Japan, except tt it's free-seating, and i'm watching English movie with Japanese subtitles! as for the movie, i dun quite understand it, cos there's so much Christianity terms and stories which i hv no idea abt, esp since i couldn't understand the subtitles too! haha~
then went to a cafe to drink and sit and chit-chat b4 going back to school for another day of classes. at nite, i slept at like 3am updating my blog. =P
Weds 7/6: once again, woke up early cos it's Gym day! actually i din really feel like going cos i wanna sleep more. but it was R's last day to the gym and the gym ppl r gonna hv a farewell lunch for her. so dragged myself outta bed and off we went to Peare (name of gym). today i did more workout cos i wanna sweat it out. then for lunch, we had Chinese food in a restaurant near the gym.

mi and Boss left early cos we need to get back to school. my 1st class was with the 19-yr-old boy who's going Australia to study. after the class, i was standing at the window and he came over and pointed to me his motorbike which was parked juz downstairs. a bright red motorbike... Kakkoii! (Cool!)
but har, weds night's classes were wat i had feared the most. there was TOEIC class where the questions are really tough and i accidentally overshot the time. then i had advanced class with 2 men who already speaks pretty good English, so i was quite worried to make mistakes... which i did! tho i did manage to clear it up in the end, i still felt quite paiseh! =P nonetheless, Boss later told mi tt they commented my teaching and explanation were v clear. phew~ however, Boss also reminded mi gently to keep to the allocated timeslot - start on time & end on time. Oops!
chatted with En on MSN at nite. seems like she's in love lately! wee ooh weet~! haha... and it happens tt i sorta know tt guy, cos he used to work in sony too. hmmm~ looks quite cute and seems quite a nice guy as described by En. awww~ happy for her!! hee~ but also feels quite weird in a way. it's barely 2 weeks since i reached Japan and my best friend is getting attached for the first time! also can't help feeling a bit worried for her cos for the past yr, she has been going out with so many different guys. i do hope this will be the last one and she can finally settle down, cos i seriously disapprove of all those dating games. =P
Thurs 8/6: cooked again today! i made beef stew... with chicken tho. and i used those ready-made mixture so it was quite easy. =P
done!! there was quite a lot so i ate some for lunch
alone watching TV while eating lunch
and then i was almost late for work! we r supposed to be in office by 2pm, but i onli left the apartment at 1.50pm! quickly cycled down and managed to reach school juz in time. phew~ but dangerous cycling sia. =P
it was also R's last nite in Kobe, a rainy one too. after class, we went to eat gyoza! it's a little shop run by a husband and wife. cosy and nice!

after gyoza, we went to another place juz to have a drink at the "Drink Bar", i.e. pay a fixed amt and we can hv as much beverage as we want. it's quite a common concept in many western restaurants in Japan. i drank hot cocoa... really nice!! esp on a cold rainy nite like tonite.
Fri 9/6: woke up early once again, cos we r sending R off at the airport! b4 leaving, R passed mi some of her stuffs which she's not bringing back to Singapore (finally, a full length mirror in my room!) and also gave mi a little gift. aww~ felt quite bad cos i didn't prepare anything for her. =P
a student came to send R off juz under our apartment. she was crying as we waved goodbye to her in the car. then another student joined us in the journey to the airport.
it was a long 1-hr drive to Kansai airport. and boy~ it was onli less than 2 weeks since i first passed this highway towards Kobe by limo bus from the airport. at tt time, i was alone and filled with anticipation. now, i've already settled down and started working. how time flies! at Kansai airport, we waited for quite a long time at the check-in counter cos R had too much luggage (a whooping 45kg!). once again, i couldn't help thinking tt it was slightly less than 1 yr ago when i was stuck in this airport for abt 6 hours cos there was a flight delay after my internship in Hiroshima. gee~ back then, i seriously didn't know tt i would actually be really working in Japan in less than a yr!
finally, after R checked in as much luggage as she could and sent the rest back by mail, we went to a cafe for lunch.

finally, at the departure gate, R gave everybody a final hug b4 she slowly made her way thru the gates. she was crying and yet controlled hard to fight back the tears. i almost felt like crying too! altho i had onli known her briefly, i think she's v strong, independant and capable. really admire her. wish her success back in Singapore!
on the way back, i fell asleep in the car. was really tired, and i was too sleepy to think of topics to talk in class too. hope my students didn't find my classes boring. =P din prepare bento today so mi and C ate Onigiri from Lawson's for dinner. and after classes, we went to the Kansai supermarket near 兵庫 station, aka nearer to our school, and bought some groceries for tomorrow.
Sat 10/6: another bento-making day. here's my menu for the day - grilled fish, stir-fried broccoli & carrots, and egg wrap with cheese (ready-made one =P).
was late for work today! school starts and ends an hour earlier on Sat, so i gotta reach by 1pm for meeting, but i onli left the apartment at 12.55pm!! sped down the road and got there about 3mins late. =P tho our so-called meeting is juz sitting ard and drink coffee, and Boss also didn't reprimand mi, i think i really ought to avoid being late again. =P
after class, went to hiphop class again! by myself this time tho. still feels kinda scary whenever i gotta travel alone, but exciting too. =P and i really enjoyed the hiphop class! it's progressive so i get to learn new things every week, unlike in Singapore where i juz do different choreography each lesson. burnt a big hole in my pocket tho! dance studio membership was ¥3000 and i also bought a 5-classes package at ¥9000. ¥12000 (abt SGD$160) gone juz like tt! oops~ watever happened to my resolution to save money to repay all my debts. =Pp
S, my student who also attends the hiphop class, was kind enuff to drop mi off at 兵庫 station cos she lives v near there. it was almost 12am already and i cycled back alone in the night.
