Mon 12/6: i had a hard time sleeping the nite b4. dunno why... tossed in bed until 4am! then i rem waking up at abt 7am to feel an unknown pain inside my chest. but i fell asleep again and by the time i woke up at abt 10+, i felt perfectly alrite again.
left house a bit earlier to go Kojima Electronics again to get the hair-dryer i saw yesterday. it's now hanging inside the bathroom. it's actually the same one as wat R was using b4 she took it back to Singapore. the best and cheapest one ard. =P
stopped by Lawson's to buy an onigiri for lunch b4 going to sch. then learnt tt there was an earthquake last nite!! it was scale 5 in Kyushuu but luckily onli scale 1 in Hyogo. Boss said he felt it at abt 4am, but i din even realised. gee~ makes mi wondered if tt was the reason i felt the strange pain inside my chest. anyway, am glad tt it was nothing serious. but i think i can expect more chances to really feel an earthquake in future! =P
anyway, today i tried to update our sch's website to change the current teacher's profile to myself. but they are using this "Homepage Builder" program which i've nv used b4 and it's all in Japanese so i couldn't decipher many of the commands. in the end, only the text file was uploaded as i couldn't upload my pic.
at nite, i had a nice class with M, cos we juz kept talking and talking. topics included housing and social welfare in Japan & Singapore. we talked until there wasn't time left to look at the textbook! haha~

and tonite is a big nite for Japan... cos it's the World Cup!!! i onli managed to catch the last 30mins tho, as we were watching "Ainori" b4 switching channels. =P anyway, it was quite exciting for mi. this is the 1st time i ever felt the enthusiam to support a soccer team in World Cup - GO JAPAN GO!!! haha~ was really happy initially when seeing Japan leading with 1 goal. then suddenly Aussie scored, in juz a few seconds after a free kick was saved. Ahhh~~~!! and then after a few mins, they scored again!! AHHHHH~~~!!! and if tt's not enuff, they hv to score again during the time extension!! ARRRRGGGHHHH~~~!!!!!!! felt so so sad and disappointed for Japan team, as well as all the supporters who flew all the way to Germany. sigh~
Tue 13/6: bento of the day is Mapo Tofu!!! made from ready-made sauce of cos. =P
after a day of classes, mi, Boss, C and a student went for a drink, cos on every 2nd tues of the mth, the beer in this resturant is onli ¥100 per mug! so Boss sorta make it a monthly event for us. haha~ we also had Karaage aka fried chicken. really nice!!
but har, i also got to see the drunkard side of my Boss... so so talkative! =X he was in super high spirits and juz went on blabbering and blabbering. lol~ it was a good thing C has gathered enuff experience in the past 2 yrs and was able to entertain him back. =Pp anyway, Boss was also quite sober. he told mi tt in Japanese culture, drinking with bosses is a good opportunity to voice out all ur complaints. but har, the v nx day later, everyone muz forget wat happened and continue with the status of boss and subordinate. interesting sia~ lol =P
Wed 14/6: i was glad tt i sorta made use of the drunkard situation last nite to tell Boss i dun wanna go for gym today. =P these few days, i've been sleeping at 3am and waking up 11am. i dun wanna wake up early to go all the way to gym, esp since i'm not a gym person too. working out on the machines is boring for mi. i much prefer to go for dance or aerobics classes.
anyway, it was C's turn to make bento today and i decided to go cycling ard the neighbourhood. here r some random pics i took.

well i juz kept cycling and cycling until i realised i dunno where i was! =P but luckily i managed to find 100 yen plaza by chance and went in to browse thru the products as well as the books on the 2nd lvl. really like this place! but it was almost time already so i quickly left since i dun really know my exact location too. i decided to take direction from a red and white tower i often see. sure enuff, i managed to find my way back and got to sch juz in time.
my first class was with a new student who juz enrolled under her fren's recommendation. and as usual, my most-feared class is on weds. today, i couldn't explain a certain sentence in the text! damnit~ anyway time was already up so they said to continue nx week. felt so lousy abt myself. sigh~ but luckily, i later had an enjoyable kids class with 2 sisters who became so enthu until i had to chase them home ("帰れ!"). haha~
Thu 15/6: it was a rainy day today, marking the start of the rainy season, aka 梅雨. C was already out when i woke up cos she's gotta settle some visa stuff with Boss. i was alone at home doing some housework and lazing ard until she called and asked mi to join them for lunch. within 10 mins, they were under the apartment and i quickly went down.
we went to a western restaurant and i had this with rice. *yum yum*

heard from Boss tt his fren in Hiroshima has invited us to watch fireflies at his place on 2nd July! yay~ tt'd be my 1st time seeing fireflies! so excited! anyway, it's in the eastern tip of Hiroshima, so it's v far away from the city area, where i had my internship last yr.
back to sch, i finally found the way to upload pics to our website! sometimes i can't help feeling wat a genius i am. lol~ =Pp so anyway, if u're interested, feel free to check out our webby under "講師陣紹介". i know this site is pretty lok kok, so i'm gonna do a complete revamp of it when i hv time.
had my most hated kids' class on thurs - 3 kids who juz can't seem to sit down and follow instructions! arghhh~ but i also had an enjoyable class with A, a funny guy who's currently doing his masters in Kobe U. at nite, had an odd feeling and couldn't get to sleep...
Fri 16/6: woke up early nonetheless cos i promised to go gym with Boss! after weds, Boss kept saying how lonely he is having to go to the gym alone. felt kinda bad abt it, and prolly C felt the same too, cos she agreed to go as well! anyway, today i attended the "sit-up" class... 30 mins of abs exercises! also went to the jacuzzi... really nice indeed! C tried to make mi go to the public bath but i still couldn't bring myself to do it! haha~ =Pp
after gym, we went to a korean restaurant for lunch and i had spicy tofu soup which weren't spicy enuff!
and so another day of tiring classes ended. reaching home, i was taking out my contact lens in the bathroom when i saw a cockroach somewhere behind mi from the mirror!! a v big one some more!
Sat 17/6: another rainy today. i made bento, cleaned the toilet and did some laundry.
then cycled to sch in the rain! many Japanese can cycle while holding umbrellas but i can't. so my nx best option is to cycle as fast as i can to reach sch. unfortunately, i wasn't skilful enuff with my turning and banged into a wall!! suffered a few scratches and my $5 watch was broken. *sad* reached sch in a pathetic state but still kept my cool abt it. =P anyway, it's nothing serious so no worries.
enjoyed my adult classes (learnt a lot abt Japanese family customs) and kids class (played lotsa games with them and i could see they really had a fun time). but in the babies class, the 2 kids hid under the table again and i had to ask Boss for help! =P then at nite, i helped to translate and type the report card for a boy whose mother wants to send him to Singapore to study. while typing, Boss made a cup of hot cocoa for mi. awww~ where to find a boss so nice! haha~
went for hiphop class and i really enjoyed it again. but S couldn't go tonite as she had to visit her grandma in hospital. went home by myself and it felt really good to be cycling in the cool nite (depsite my minor accident earlier in the day =P). i also stopped by at the various 24hrs convenience shops to browse their products.
reaching my apartment, i attempted to zoom up the slope twice but failed in both. hmmm~ looks like i still got lotsa to improve in my cycling skills!
now it's 5.15am, and i've been typing this blog. ahhh... sun coming out already!! i better get some sleep now! =Pp
