Shopping in Kobe

***Previously I posted about my first off day in Kobe when I went Sight-Seeing around Kobe. This is about the following Sunday when I went shopping! ^^*** (20/12/2010)

-= my 2nd Sunday off =-

had originally wanted to go shopping in 三宮 alone, but C had no plans for the day and asked if she could join mi. so okie lor! anyway, my shopping list for the day includes: groceries, hair-dryer, clothes, shoes, and maybe bags, etc. also planned to check out the prices of handphones and electronic dictionaries. but b4 going, C dug out some of the old shoes left behind by previous teachers and they fit mi perfectly! haha~ so no need to buy shoes le. =Pp

our 1st stop was Kansai Supermarket, and Kojima electronics shop upstairs.

a big white bear welcoming us in front of Kojima. it seems tt all the shop assistants in Japan electronics shop wear tt red jacket. now i know where the uniform of Best Denki in Singapore came from. haha~

C trying out the massage chair. i tried it too and felt so squeezed up! =P

spoilt for choices - too many handphones with different functions and various designs!

lunch was in a Chinese restaurant and we ordered the set meal which consisted of ramen, gyoza and rice! i seriously dun understand why Japanese like to eat noodles and rice together. anyway i couldn't finish the rice. =P

b4 setting off to 三宮, we dropped by school to keep our groceries there, since it's near to 兵庫 station where we took the train from.

reaching 三宮, mi on the overhead bridge towards Center Street.

we went to another electronics shop along Center Street and i couldn't help noticing the sony cameras. =P seems like Japan doesn't carry W50 nor W70 (the one i'm using), but onli W30. and the pink M2 looks quite cute but bulky.

C brought mi up to the 2nd floor of Center Street where they are quite a few stores with pretty affordable clothes! i bought a top at SPPS for ¥1260. and this RIO in the pic is a shop i like to frequent back in Hiroshima too.

3 Coins is a shop with the same concept as 100 yen shop, except tt everything goes at 300 yen here, or ¥315 after tax. quite a lot of nice stuff!

Uni Qlo - another shop i like since the Hiroshima trip. clothes here are simple and affordable. their yukata (light kimono) is also one of the cheapest ard. definitely going to buy my yukata here when summer comes.

somewhere upstairs, there's also a Disney store selling all Disney merchandise.

this is claire's, a very 派手 (gawdy) shop in our opinion. but upon closer inspection, i think their acessories are very nice and quite cheap too!

there's another 100 yen shop on the same level and i bought a wooden signboard with alphabets of my name. hee~ this pic was taken after i pasted the letters properly the nx day. it's now hanging on my room door. Nice? =P

anyway, Boss saw our groceries in the school and msg-ed C to ask whether we wanna hv dinner together with him. apparently, N-san was not ard and so Boss wanted company for dinner! haha~ so we met him at 兵庫 station and the 3 of us cycled for about 15 mins to a conveyor belt sushi restaurant. it was v crowded when we reached and we waited for abt 20 mins b4 we got a seat.

to order anything, press the white button and our order will come out on the belt with the indication "白色" (our table colour). to call for bill, press the bell.

mi and C after eating. every plate was ¥100 each.

and so we cycled back to school to get our groceries, and i also consulted Boss on which handphone to get (advice: "Vodafone is the cheapest"), then cycled home again. hence this was yet another nice Sunday spent with C. really thank her for showing mi so many places! =)
