Day 3 (30/5)

10am: Boss came to pick mi up. we first went to the city's office where i applied for my alien status. yes, i am now considered an ALIEN in japan! haha~ feels kinda weird... all thru my life i've been a taking-everything-for-granted Singapore citizen, but now i am a FOREIGNER! =P

after tt we went to the post office bank, and i applied for a bank account. my monthly salary will be credited straight to this account in future.

11.30am: we headed back to the apartment and picked up R & C. Boss then brought us to Harbourland - the famous spot of Kobe!! we had spaghetti for lunch in this really luxurious and Italian-looking restaurant, called "the old spaghetti factory".

C, Mi, R

after lunch, we walked ard the area and i finally saw the port of Kobe - red Kobe tower, n-shaped Oriental Hotel and the big big ferris wheel!! been seeing so many pics of these beautiful landmarks and now i'm finally seeing it with my very own eyes! really nice view... and the breeze from the sea feels great too.

nx, we also walked ard Mosaic, the shopping area in Harbourland. saw lotsa really cute-looking shops!

1+pm: reached school, and had meeting over coffee. then i followed R to classes again. and today, a kind student (an elderly lady) brought us some cakes! so nice~ think it's really common to receive gifts from the students in TLS cos it's juz so homely there.

9.10pm: ended our last lesson which was a v interesting one with 4 adults engaged in v enthusiatic conversation. then walked home in the cold night with R.

thruout these 2 days, i've also been helping R to take final pics with her students. seeing how she bade farewell to the students, i feel a bit sad too. she's a really good teacher and all the students really like her! capable, friendly and v pretty too. awww~ wonder if i can be as good as her... well i juz hope tt the attendance in TLS wun drop after i take over. =P
