Day 1 (28/5)
10am: my Boss and the 2 present teachers, R & C, came to pick mi up at 三ノ宮 Sanomiya station (orchard rd of Kobe). we went for a breakfast in a small cafe near the apartment i'm gonna stay in. after tt, i got my room and started to settle down. also called my mum who cried again on the phone. -_-

3pm: got changed and Boss came to pick us up again. we went to the school first (quite small & messy but warm & cosy), met Boss' wife aka N-san, proceeded to a little cafe restaurant called "Kobekko" and started preparing for the farewell cum welcome party.

5pm: students began streaming in and i introduced myself to all of them. felt a bit outta place cos i'm still new after all. but i can see tt the atmosphere in TLS is really good! close relationship between Boss, teachers & students! students can range from 3 yrs old to 80 yrs old as i was told. then ate and interacted with the students (mainly in english and they r pretty good!), while R and C they all were busy moving ard taking pics and talking with various ppl.




then came the speech time... Boss intro-ed mi to everyone (in japanese). he said i was selected from over 30 interviewees (feels kinda uneasy cos i dun think i'm good at all! but also v happy lar. =P haha~). i also went up onto the chair (-_-") and made a small speech. but most impt is R's farewell speech. she was nearing to tears as she talked abt her experiences in TLS for the past 2 yrs... really touching... made mi feel like crying too. can see some students tearing, and some obaasan will shout "Gambatte". after R finished her speech, a small lil girl even shouted "R daisuki!" awwwww~ this kinda scene machiam like dorama! so sweet neh~


8pm: we and some of the students (mostly the younger ones) went to KTV at a place called "White Kangeroo". v nice place there. can choose songs from books and key in or search with the portable controller. 2 of the guys were rapping in Japanese!! *impressed*



i had a drink called 抹茶オーレ, aka green tea with milk. nice!

10+pm: students all went back already. Boss they all felt hungry cos they didn't eat much at the party. i was still full cos i ate quite a lot =P, but i followed anyway. we had ramen in a shop called "Marui". delicious soup base, delicious noodles, delicious bean sprouts and pork! oishii!! cost 600 yen but it was Boss' treat.


11pm: finally went back, bathed and slept.
