Anyway, some time ago, he paid me a vist! It was his first time in Japan and so we played tourists in many places. Here goes a recap of the wonderful times we had! =D

Minato Mirai @ Yokohama
(I love this place & had been hoping to come here with my special someone since I first visited it like 3 years ago. Now my wish is finally fulfilled! ^^)

関帝廟 in Yokohama's Chinatown

in front of the big wooden tori gate of 明治神社 on the day we visited Harajuku & Shibuya

bought a 1-day metro pass & went all around Tokyo - Asakusa, Akihabara, Ginza, Tokyo Tower, Roppongi

dressed up in yukata & jinbei to visit the 大仏 in Kamakura and watch 花火 at Kurihama

1-day デート at Odaiba, another one of my fave places in Japan :)

sumptuous Japanese feast at a ryokan in Hakone

sight-seeing around Hakone - Owakudani, Lake Ashi, Hakone Jinja

sunset @ Mitsui Outlet Park, Yokohama

a day of fun at Tokyo DisneyLand!

acting silly in my apartment ;P

and finally, our "family pic" with Stitchie & Korilakkuma! hee~
Although it's a sad thing that we have to be separated when our relationship had only just started, I am also thankful for this chance for him to come experience life in Japan with me. It really allowed us to understand each other further and find out more things we have in common. Besides, the long periods of being apart also make us treasure the times we have together even more. (^-^)
Shall end off with this paragraph from one of my favourite songs "好きな人" by Kiroro:
神様きっと試練下した
幸せすぎると後でだめになる
だからこんな時乗り越えよう
***translation found online***
From now on, it will be the two of us forever, and so
The gods would surely put us to test
If we're too fortunate, things will not turn out well afterwards
Therefore, let's overcome these times together

So sweet!!! =)
sweet!!
Such cute photos and you are such a cute couple!
Hee~ Thank you!! (o^-^o)
How sweet~~. But I know it's sad. I have my own experience of long distance love, but that was the time when internet was not as useful as today. Of course no email, no blog, no skype, no Facebook, nothing... We just exchanged snail mails and making an international call once in a while was so...exciting but nervous because it'll be much amount of money if we talked too long.
I think you are still lucky because you can see him online. ^ ^;; But I wish you two can stay together.
Awww~ Thanks Kirin for sharing your experience. I'm sure you must have had a much harder time... But I'm glad you made it through and are happily married to your husband now! (^^) You are right. I'm really lucky cos I still get to keep in touch with him every day through various technologies, and it won't be long before we can be together again cos I'm requesting my company to transfer me back to Singapore earlier. Hope things work out smoothly. Thank you for your well wishes! =)
Awww~ Come back come back!!
But I think by that time I would have already left Japan too... ><
