And unknowingly, the number of followers to this blog has reached 50! Gee~ Thank you all so much for the support, despite the fact that I haven't been a very good blogger... (>.<)

Well, the reason why I restarted this blog last year was because I was so bored and lonely living all by myself in the rural countryside of Shinjo, Yamagata. The internet was my only way of getting in touch with the rest of the world, so I thought it would be a great idea to keep my friends updated of my well-being through this page as well as share with fellow Japan-lovers what life in this country is like. In addition, I was expecting to move to Yokohama soon and planning to stay there for a few years. Hence, I wanted to make use of this platform to know more people living in the Kanto region so that life in Japan would not be so lonely for me anymore.

But as fate would have it, things happened and my priorities changed. I no longer wish to live in Japan anymore. I've already been here long enough and it's time to move on to the next stage in life. Soon, I got occupied with the more important things in reality and started to neglect this virtual space... m(___)m

However, a big part of me still wants to continue writing here. There are so many valuable experiences during my stay in Japan that I want to remember - the beautiful places I've visited, the yummy foods I've tasted, the kawaii items I've bought, and so much more! Therefore, I will definitely continue to update this blog. Perhaps very slowly... But I will try to catch up whenever possible.

Meanwhile, I'm already down to my last 2 months in Japan! As agreed upon by my understanding managers, I will only stay here until November or December once the current project we are working on is more or less settled. Friends in Japan, hope to see you guys like at least once before I leave!

And finally, thank you all again for reading!!!

Glad to see a post from you! :)

I totally understand how things just can't go your way, and you're forced to make important decisions. I am interested in hearing what you've done with your time in Japan so I look forward to those posts! Good luck!
