Mum in Yokohama!

Almost 3 months has passed since my arrival in Yokohama, and I have to say that I'm loving this city more and more. It's a pity that I will not be staying here as long as I had intended, now that there is someone waiting for me back at home. (*^^*) Still, I will make the best out of whatever time I have here and document them on this blog for memories' sake.

First of all, here's a summary of my Mum's visit back in June! =D

中華街 in Yokohama, also the largest Chinatown in Japan

元町 shopping street, with a European feel

山下公園, a nice park by the sea that overlooks the major landmarks of Yokohama

met up with Etsuko at みなとみらい

Mum overwhelmed by the crowd at 渋谷 scramble crossing

the famous 雷門 at 浅草

along 仲見世通り

my cute Mum with Tokyo Sky Tree (still under construction) & Asahi Beer Hall (or more commonly known as the "golden sh*t" =P)

cruising down 隅田川 on Tokyo Cruise

inside Tokyo Tower!

La-Vita, "mini Venice" in 自由が丘

beautiful place!

fantastic pancakes at j.s. pancake cafe

awesome view of hydrangea lining both sides of these steps that lead to the sea at 成就院

Mum amidst the neverending flow of people

made full use of our 江ノ島電鉄 1-day pass

and of cos, with Mum around it means yummy home-cooked food every day!

Thank you Mum for visiting & taking care of me in Yokohama! ♥

Oh it looks like you and your mum had so much fun! XDDD Seeing your pics makes me miss Japan even more! I wished I could just go back and continue my life in Tokyo ;__;

How long are you gonna stay in Yokohama? Enjoy the rest of your time! And greet Meow in case you see her! :)
