Anyway, while I have left Shinjo, I am not yet leaving Japan for good. I am heading home to Singapore now mainly for the upcoming Chinese New Year, and because my brother happens to be getting married in early March, I have requested to stay longer. Therefore, I will be home for almost 2 months and be back to Japan in mid-March!
By then, I will be transferred to my head office in Yokohama!!! Yeah~ really happy cos I will be able to enjoy the exciting city life finally! Besides, my "hometown" Kobe is just a night bus away so I can go back easily too! To my blogger friends who stay in Tokyo or are going there soon, hope to hang out with you guys sometime too! ;)
As for how long exactly I'm going to stay in Yokohama, frankly, I have no idea. My working visa in Japan is still good for another 2.5 years. And since my future sister-in-law is going to be staying in our house for a few years before their new house is ready, during which my house may be a little cramp, I guess this is a good time for me to stay away. Besides, I feel more at ease knowing that there's another person at home to take care of my parents.
Next, here are some of my resolutions for 2011!
1) Update this blog regularly, like maybe 2-3 times per week.
2) Continue to improve myself in every aspect, namely Japanese, dance, fashion, make-up, cooking, social skills, etc.
3) Make my life in Yokohama as exciting & fulfilling as possible.
I know I know, I'm already failing at my 1st resolution by putting up this new year resolution list like 2 weeks late. =P Also, I still have a lot of Japan travel/shopping entries that I haven't posted yet. Will try to catch up on everything during my time back home. Then hopefully when I get to Yokohama in March, I can blog in a more timely manner. hee~
Finally, sorry that I haven't been replying comments nor leaving comments at your blogs cos I've been so busy with moving and packing. In fact, I spent the whole of last night packing without getting any sleep! Didn't realise how much junk I have accumulated during my 7.5-month stay. =P Ok, gotta change trains at Tokyo soon. Shall blog again from sunny Singapore! (^-^)/

That must be nice to get back home for a while, and that is great you get to move to Yokohama. We live near Yokohama, and it is a great place to be. Sakie and I are looking forward to meeting you in Singapore that weekend we are there for a few days. Email me at tom@thomasgantz.com so we can arrange things. :-)
@Kami
Thank you too! =) Don't worry, you are still young so I'm sure you have plenty of chances to try living in Japan someday! And yes, do include Yokohama in your itinerary next time you visit Japan. There are many nice places!
