Happy Halloween!

While I do not have the culture of celebrating Halloween in my home country, it seems like quite a popular festival here in Japan, that is, for its commercial value! All kinds of Halloween-themed merchandises can be found on the shelves of stores during the month of October. And in MaxValu, one of the many supermarkets in Shinjo, they even had this...

A Gigantic Pumpkin!!!

with a little "Guess how much it weighs?" contest for shoppers

I didn't take part in the contest nor did I bother to find out exactly how many kilograms that monsterous pumpkin was. All I know is that when I returned 2 weeks later, it was replaced with this...

A smaller but nicely carved pumpkin!

Anyway, since we are in the Halloween mood, here's a video of...

蝴蝶姐姐 in Hong Kong Disneyland's Halloween Special!!!

Watching this video reminded me so much of my Hong Kong trip with ping around this time last year. And it seems like the Disneyland Halloween highlight of a mega Jack Skellington sitting on pumpkin is still the same.

If anyone's interested, feel free to check out my Facebook album for more pictures of my Hong Kong Halloween trip last year!

And once again,

Happy Halloween!
