Shopping @ Shimamura

The long-awaited weekend after an intensive working week is finally here, yet I have nothing to do! *sobs* Initially, I was thinking of going somewhere to see the autumn leaves but according to the website, the leaves in most places are still not red yet. In the end, I simply did what I usually do on most weekends, that is, visiting my favourite store in Shinjo - Shimamura しまむら!


Now, there was a pair of black gladiators that I had been eyeing for a long time ever since I saw them on sushi-cat. Shimamura @ Shinjo had a pair of them - the one and only pair and it happened to be in size M, which fits me perfectly. However, on my previous few visits to the shop, I did not buy them as I felt that they were a little expensive at ¥2300. I was also expecting them to go on sale soon with the changing of season. True enough, this was what I saw when I reached Shimamura today...

I started a frantic search for the pair of shoes I want. They were still there! And to my pleasant surprise, they had been discounted to a whooping ¥970!!! That's more than 50% off!! Looks like they were meant to be mine. ^^ Yipee~!

On a sadder note, I also saw the leopard print usamimi hairband I bought last week discounted from ¥390 to ¥190! But oh well, the one I saw today was of a darker colour which isn't as nice as what I have... *trying hard to console myself*

Anyway, I then browsed through the clothes as usual, trying to look for good bargains. And one thing I noticed on this visit was how fashionable even the clothes in the children's section were!



See! So nice, right?



There were even mini muton boots! As well as mini version of the super furry boots which is one of this season's hottest fashion must-haves!

Suddenly, I wish I had a daughter just so I could dress her up. Haha~ Just like these 2 fashionable little girls I spotted!


So anyway, here are my gets for the day:

The black gladiators I had been wanting for a long time!

Price: ¥2300 ¥970
I have to add that they are comfortable to wear and easy to walk in too! (then again maybe it's cos I've only been walking in them inside my room so far =P)

Floral print usamimi hairband

Price: ¥670 ¥100
Bought it simply bcos it was so cheap and in very good quality. Even if I do not use it as a hairband, it will look nice as an accessory to my bag too. However, I probably will not use it until at least next spring, bcos floral print suddenly seems so outdated now. (Yes, that's how scary fashion is! Just a few months ago floral print was such a huge thing. But now it can actually feel a bit embarrassing to be still wearing it. =P)

Mickey & Minnie long-sleeved shirt

Price: ¥1270 ¥770
Didn't plan to buy any dark-coloured shirts but this was too cute to resist! I love how it's filled with pastel little hearts all over. Easy to match with most bottoms too.

Aiyo, I really love the shoes lah!! o(^-^)o
