it should have been my FAREWELL PARTY today...

yesterday should have been my last day at work in Kobe and tomorrow should be my first day of freedom after completing 2 years of service in TLS.

however, due to the fact that the next teacher is unable to start teaching until July, i am made to stay for a 25th month... an arrangement which i am both happy and sad about.

happy bcos yes, i can see all my dear students for an extra month, and also earn an extra month of salary (which is so much better now that i started on an additional assignment of teaching in FX company twice a week). but sad bcos i have to push back my plan of travelling & dancing around in Japan 1 month later... esp since there are so many events in June which i will have to miss!! *sobs* also cos i will go back to Singapore later... and seriously, i'm can't wait to go home ASAP!!

anyway, speaking of the next teachers... it's actually not a new teacher who will be replacing mi... but an ex-teacher, who decided to come back to Kobe after spending the past 4 years with MOE. as for the one replacing my colleague J in August, it's a totally new and inexperienced fresh graduate, picked by Boss during his trip to Singapore in March this year.

so when will i be going back to Singapore exactly?? seriously, i haven't decided yet. =P originally, i wanted to stay in Japan for an extra month to simply take dance classes. but with my contract already extended for a month and my desire to go home getting stronger, i don't think i wanna do that anymore. then there was news that there would be a dance recital in July by the studio i frequent. however, it got postponed and postponed until somewhere mid-August. initially i thought about hanging around in Japan for 1.5 months just to take part in it, but it would be so foolish right? no income and no accomodation... how to survive? *sigh* so i guess i hafta forgo this one and only chance for mi to dance on the Japan stage.

however, i will definitely travel to Hiroshima once more to see all my host families and all the kind people who had helped during the internship 3 years ago. then i will go to Tokyo bcos there are still many places i wanna visit in that region. i will also take a few dance classes and meet up with some friends. with so many things to do, my tentative date of returning to Singapore is 22 - 27 July.

alright... finally finished reporting my latest news and situation in Japan. i know i had made many empty promises of giving updates but failed to do so. really sorry! i will put up pictures of sakura soon, really. but now, i gotta go to bed already cos i hafta wake up early tomorrow to go FX company. so... goodnight!
