Anyway, it is said that this Dragon year will be a very good one for those born in the year of Pig, aka both me and the fiancé! Hope this is really true, especially since we have so many major life plans ahead. (^-^)

thanks! =) anyway those are not cards but red packets containing $$. it's similar to the お年玉 in Japan. ^^
omg looks like so much fun and great food!! i remember those red envelopes! used to feed it to dancing lions in china town lol but never received any D: it's like otoshidama, right?

that's right! we call it "red packet" here, or "ang bao" in dialect. and unlike otoshidama, the Singapore culture is that one can still receive it as long as he/she is not married, no matter how old! haha =D
