Snowing in Shinjo

Friends on my Twitter or Facebook would have noticed from my status that it snowed heavily in Shinjo yesterday! Although this is already like my n-th encounter with snow, I still can't contain my excitement every time I see these beautiful white flakes falling from the sky. After all, 20+ years of my life was spent on the small sunny island of Singapore where it's summer all year round, so seeing snow is still considered a rare experience for me!

the view that greeted me in the morning
total surprise cos it was still raining the night b4
kinda blurry cos of the condensation on my window

the path that i walk every day

thanks to my leopard print PVC boots, i can walk in the snow without slipping nor getting my feet wet!

my apartment building now in winter
the ground is all wet and messy cos there are water sprinklers to melt the snow

my window on the top right

the empty land that i usually short cut across

leaving my footprints in the snow while walking to work

walking back at 11pm

somehow the night seems a lot brighter with the snow

Yeah~ and i still remember us at this snowy place called Gokayama. the snow was beautiful!! unfortunately, living with snow is an entirely different matter. cos when the snow starts melting, it gets v ugly and in fact dangerous! ><

That is great you cN enjoy experiencing snow. It might be the opposite for us since we are not sure but my company might move me to Singapore in the Spring. Would bowed not to have four seasons

Wow really! I would love to show you guys around Singapore if I happen to go home then! ^^ Yeah Singapore may be kinda boring due to the lack of four seasons, but it makes living a lot easier! I have come to appreciate this fact after experiencing how tough it is to live in a snowy place... haha =P

OMG IT'S BEAUTIFUL! I really really miss the first few majestic snowfalls of the winter... but it does get old after awhile~ I'm glad I could experience it a little bit through your photos :)
