Happy 27th Birthday to me!!!

This is the loneliest birthday I've ever had. Not only was I all alone in a foreign land, but also one that was so quiet and lifeless. To make things worse, it was a working day... despite being a Saturday! I went to office as usual, did my work as usual, and when I left at 6+pm, the streets were already all dark, cold, and without a single soul.

Surprisingly, as I walked back to my apartment in the lonesome darkness, I was actually feeling very happy! This was because throughout the day, I had been receiving many birthdays greetings from friends in Singapore through Facebook, and had been replying to each and every one of them one by one. Besides, my dance mates from Legend had already celebrated for me in advance by surprising me with a birthday cake last Saturday when I was in Singapore. Thank you so much, my friends, for making me feel so loved!


Since it was my birthday, I wanted to give myself a treat and eat something good. But the weather was so cold that I didn't want to cycle too far. In the end, I settled for this ramen shop which was just round the corner of the street I stay.


This was actually my 3rd visit to this ramen shop. I quite like it cos unlike the traditional shops, the interior of this one is quite modern and there are even spacious booth seats to allow customers to sit there for a long time. They also provide up-to-date newspapers and magazines for reading, just the September issue of Vivi on my table!

While eating, I got engrossed with checking out the latest fashion for this autumn/winter (key tips: leopard print, nordic print & anything with fur!) that I spent more than an hour in there. After that, I went over to the nearby supermarket to get myself a cake!

Back in my apartment, guess who were there to celebrate with me?

And so I spent the rest of the evening camwhoring with my imaginary friends. Haha~

Anyway, as usual, I would make 3 wishes on my birthday. Here are my wishes for this year:

(it's often said to keep this a secret but it has never come true for me anyway so i might as well say it out loud this time)
I wish to meet the man of my life to spend all my future birthdays with as soon as possible!
