~Farewell~

C has gone back to Singapore. I cried a lot... along the 1+hr car ride back from Kansai Airport to Kobe. In fact, I've already starting tearing last night while I was writing the parting letter to her. *sobs* I've only known C for like 3.5 months, but I've grown quite attached to her really. She was not only a colleague, but a senior and a friend too who really taught me a lot a lot a lot. She is very wise and patient and thoughtful, with a wide cheery smile all the time. Now that she's not around, I feel even more alone in this big strange land of the rising sun. sigh~

Anyway, there was another farewell dinner just earlier. It's for one of my students who will be getting married in Scotland soon. She has been coming to our school for many years already. I think she's a very nice and cute lady. Wish her happiness always!

And after a a super duper HOT summer over the past 2 months, the weather is turning cold and rainy nowadays. In fact, I was freezing while cycling back just now! Think autumn is coming soon and it's time to put on more clothes already.

Now I am in my new room. I've taken over the bigger room, which is also a Japanese style tatami room. Nice room I think, but I've yet to finish cleaning up cos there were many many things left behind by the previous teachers.

Thanks to all who showed concern to my last post. Well, actually things aren't really that bad lar... Recently, I realised that I've been enjoying many of my classes! Especially classes with students who are not too advanced. I always try to be animated in my teaching and it feels really good when I managed to make them laugh. Have fun while learning... tt's the motto of our school. =)

I've also been missing Singapore a lot lately. I kept thinking of what I'd do when I return to Singapore for visit. And yar, next month I'd have a 1-week holiday again. This time I am thinking of visiting Pusan in Korea! Cos I can go there by ship from here and it's not too expensive. Wahhh~ after so many years of talking about it, I'm finally putting this wish into action. But now juz thinking onli. Hopefully I'd be able to book the trip in time.
