Show was successfully over last Saturday night. Our item really brought the house down even though we were only guest performers. Many people commented on how much they were inspired and touched by us, or more specifically, the relentless determination of the hearing-impaired dancers and the hard work of our choreographers for making it happen. Feel really proud of myself for being part of this amazing item.
Enough said. Judge for yourself.
Check out my Facebook for an extended version of this performance complete with emcee introduction and the thunderous applause we received. =)
Yup I was the extreme left one in the opening dance, but not the one being lifted up. I was on the left too in the ending pose (the one with arms crossed).
And yes, the deaf dancers are actually a very cheerful lot who enjoy having fun like any of us. Most of them study in regular schools too.
For the second dance, I was the frontmost right dancer in the first formation, then moving back and forth so it's probably difficult to catch. Or you look out for the one wearing long-sleeved white shirt with a bow on the chest. ;)
