juz wanna jot down some stuff b4 i set off for my 1-week 四国 Shikoku trip tomorrow.

15/4: experienced EARTHQUAKE for the first time. it was the day of BoA concert and i was sleeping when i was awoken for some shaky feeling. (it was actually 12.20pm already =P) i opened my eyes and saw my room trembling. it was only very light and after about 10 seconds, it stopped. i was still pondering whether that was an earthquake or not until i heard from my Japanese teacher the next day that one of our neighboring prefectures had a major earthquake the day b4. so what i had experienced was actually the aftershock. gee~ glad it was only a small one! =P

16/4-21/4: it was Parents' Visiting Week in our school! many mothers sat inside the childrens' classes, and i was so stressed out! =P think the children were nervous too because they were exceptionally quiet when their mothers were there. haha~ i hope i performed good enough to please the parents... except for 1 mother who requested mi not to use any Japanese at all when i teach (ermm... a bit impossible but ok lar, i will try).

22/4: went to Awaji Island, an island slightly off from Kobe, for the first time. my new housemate, A's colleague had kindly offered to bring us on a drive around Awaji. i was really excited to cross the Akashi Kaikyo Bridge finally after having seen it from far so many times. anyway, the weather was really bad that day, but we had a good time nonetheless! we went to a garden that happened to be having Tulips Fair. there were so many tulips of various shapes and colours!! felt like fairyland to me. also rode on the Swan Boat around the pond. how fun!

ok, so it's Golden Week holidays now! this time, i'm gonna travel around 四国 for 7D6N, all by myself! had a hectic week researching for the good spots to visit, budget hostels to stay and cheap ways to get around the 4-prefecture island. as usual, my planning is very last-min but i'm glad i still managed to find accomodation eventually. now one last thing to settle... packing! ok so i better go now... cya all after my trip! =)
