too tired to blog recently. been going ard so much with ping & her brother. now got some free time to catch up on things tt i haven't been doing. first of all, the usual year-end flashback and new-year resolutions!!

shanjae's 2006
- took up a temp job in Tuas area doing endless filing
- actively attending aerobics and hip-hop dance classes
- finally passed AIC audition and started being a freelance aerobics instructor. exhilarating experience everytime i taught a class.
- started my first official job as 吴老师!! short but nice (& tiring) memory - cute kids, naughty kids, shouting in class almost everyday, kind CL teachers, dealing with parents, various school events, etc
- went for interview with TLS and got selected
- chose to give up everything (3 jobs, dance, frens, family) in Singapore to come Japan. bade farewell with many friends, as well as my tuition students. i miss everyone!!
- finally came to Japan and started a total new life!! teaching english to the Japanese community, with students ranging from 2 to 80 years old. got used to living independently.
- taking hip-hop dance class once a week
- went ard Kobe, Osaka, Kyoto, Nara
- lone-trip to Tokyo during Summer Vacation
- took up free Japanese language intensive summer course
- many frens in Singapore got attached, and my bro finally started working
- went to Pusan, Korea with my colleague during Autumn Vacation
- had mum with mi for 3 wonderful weeks in Nov
- several bad encounters (losing wallets, having my bike stolen, etc) *sigh*
- school's Xmas Party for both kids & adults
- visited Hiroshima with ping during Winter Vacation. also went ard Kobe & Osaka.

2006 is really a year of turning point for mi. many dreams were fulfilled. many wishes came true. lotsa travelling too. i finally got to do many things which i had always wanted to do. individually, i've also changed a lot. have come to see and learn a lot more things than b4.

shanjae's 2007???
- travel more of Japan! i wanna go 四国, 東北, 北海道, 中部, 九州 etc, etc... maybe climb Mt Fuji too! =P
- be a better teacher! muz make my classes more engaging, lively and interesting. at the same time, muz make sure i see improvement in my students' English or Chinese ability
- be a better dancer! once a week class is not enuff. i muz practise more!
- speak Japanese better and pass JLPT 1 end of the yr
- make more new frens and keep in touch with old frens
- go back to Singapore during 3rd week of July for school tour
- clear NUS loan
- visit Taiwan
