juz finished watching this anime "Midori no Hibi" yesterday. it's abt Sawamura Seiji, a high school student who is notorious for getting into fights (and winning them =P). However, underneath his nasty appearance, all that he yearns for is just...a girlfriend!
and suddenly, a girl appears... on his right hand!! it turns out to be Kasugano Midori, a shy girl who has been secretly admiring Seiji for a long time. and so begins Seiji's new life, with Midori as his right hand...
alrite, wat kinda stupid story is this?? how can a person suddenly become another person's hand?? tt was wat i tot initially while watching the 1st episode. but as i watched further, somehow it became a very cute idea instead. bcos of this unexplainable phenomenon, Seiji and Midori are forced to spend every moment together. and gradually, they learn to live with each other. Midori would control Seiji's right hand and do all the housework, cook dinner, sew and knit, etc. at the same time, Seiji would be reading or doing his homework. it's actually quite nice huh? =p
during this period, the gentle side of Seiji is revealed. he tries not to get into fights anymore and is always very considerate and protective of Midori. when Midori falls sick, he takes great care of her. aww~ so sweet right.
then came the sad part when Seiji wakes up one day to find his right hand returns to normal. suddenly, he feels very lonely without Midori's voice bugging him all the time. Midori has returned to her original body and lost all memory of what happened. But of cos, her liking for Seiji remains unchanged. Finally... she gathers up her courage and confesses her feelings to Seiji...

feel so happy after watching the last episode. it's always nice to see a happy ending!
and i really like the songs in this anime... esp the ending song.

also, this anime always show many nice nice scenary and a sky monorail. find this a really cool transportation and after some searching on the internet, it really does exist in Japan!
it's actually the 湘南モノレール (Shonan Monorail) in 神奈川 (Kanagawa). in fact, many of the scenes are adapted from real places there.

gee~ so cool rite. if i get to go Japan again, i'm definitely going to visit these places and try riding on this monorail!
