finally... i'm here in Hiroshima, Japan!!!

yesterday reached Kansai airport safely at 7.20am. following tt is lots and lotsa travelling. after checking out of the airport, we dragged our luggages to take the rapid train to Osaka station, 1160 yen. the train was crowded and felt so paiseh to take up so much space with my suitcase. on the way, i was admiring the scenary of Osaka. kinda unbelievable tt i'm actually now located in Japan!

reached Osaka station 10am. we dragged our suitcase all ard and after some difficulty, finally found the place to board the highway bus. it took like 5hrs and 5000 yen. was already v tired and slept a bit. the bus was actually quite comfortable.

then finally got to Hiroshima City at 3.25pm. Once we stepped out of the bus, can already see 2 man in black suits holding a "NUS" card waiting for us. gosh... was so surprised at the formality! they drove us in a white HSA (Hiroshima Singapore Association) car to Hiroshima Shinkin bank. there, we met up with the ppl from HSA. so so formal!!! lotsa bowing... yoroshiku onegaishimasu... arigatou gozaimasu etc... they only spoke to us in Japanese! so tough trying to understand, and to reply!

then i was also brought to my ANA hotel. walking along Hiroshima City, it felt so cold! cos it is a rainy day today. think temperature abt 20 degree only. the ANA hotel is so grand!! met up with the manager. formalities once again. see for myself how the Japanese exchange namecards, kept bowing, etc. i was so nervous and scared! but luckily... they all v nice ppl. =)

walked back to the bank and after briefing, they drove us down to Higashi Hiroshima. the ride is 1hr long! was already so tired tt i fell asleep. the driver, who is also the secretary general of HSA, kept talking to us. hope i won't be too rude falling asleep unknowingly. =p

now finally here in Hiroshima International Plaza, where we'll be staying for 2 nights and have our language course. it's fantastic here!!! each of us got our own room, complete with toilet, TV, DVD player, radio, fridge!!! heaven man... haha. but too bad will only be here for 2 days.

earlier in the morning had my first business japanese course. quite hard, but lucky i've learnt quite a bit of them in school already. then finally found this study room where we can use the computer. v good here, even got memory stick reader. so yup, here i am telling u guys wat had happened to mi so far and to relieve my memory stick of the pictures! kinda regretted not bringing enuff things here, cos i wanna keep my luggage light. nvm, shall make do with wat i hv for the time being. and more regret not having revise my Japanese enuff b4 coming. it's so tough! trying to catch wat they say, process their words with my limited vocabulary bank, and find some words back to reply. most of the time, mi juz a mute. haha... so scared when internship starts nx week!

ok i better go and change for my language course part 2 later. we're gonna be serving coffee!! haha...
